I won’t follow out with a ‘Paddle to the Sea’

This is a very simple movie. However, the real great thing this short does manage to achieve is some truly astonishing  camera works. You could watch stunned, gawking in aw of some of the absolutely ridiculous ( they are ridiculous) shots that were able to be captured by this film crew. The overall plot is suspect at best. It tries to capture the beauty and child like whimsy of Red Balloon and yet, somehow falls flat.  Perhaps it was the odd pacing of the narration, or the blah-zay reading of it. Whatever the case this is not something to be recommended unless you know someone really interested in a good scene study short film.
